Field Sales Executive
**A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK is essential for this role**
Joseph Ash Galvanizing are looking for a field sales executive to join our team at our site in Chesterfield.
We are looking for an individual with the drive and determination to succeed. Capable of delivering against targets through continuous improvement techniques and learning from a diverse range of skills & experience.
Previous experience as a field sales executive is essential to the role, along with a valid UK driving licence.
Your day to day
- Strategically hunt for new business opportunities, execute sales strategies and tactics to sell the company’s products, solutions, and services
- Use market intelligence, databases and tools to identify prospective new customers and opportunities
- Chasing leads and following up on opportunities to generate sales
- Maintain and develop existing business through effective customer contact, building positive and supportive relationships
- Effectively partner your customers to understand their plans for growth, adding value, offering a wide range of practical solutions
- Understand competitor activity & proposals, ensuring you are always offering your customers the best solutions
- Manage customer pricing quotations and terms to protect margins while driving sales forward. Report back on any competitor activity that may affect sales revenue. Maintain regular communication with line manager and other departments as required. Timely delivery of any customer complaints to customer service department.
- Engage positively with colleagues to generate creative solutions
What we are looking for:
- Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and achieve success with minimal oversight in a sometimes ambiguous work environment.
- Excellent time management skills, with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
- Able to travel as necessary to your assigned accounts, and to Company meetings.
- Highly ethical and professional personal conduct.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to network.
- Ability to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve targets
- Confident presentation style
- Ability to read technical drawings and converse on a technical level
- Field sales experience required.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for exploring new opportunities to build business.
- Strong numerical reasoning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full, clean Driving Licence.
